BMW 3 Series was first introduced to the world market in 1975. Until now, it had global sales exceeding 12 million units.
The sixth generation of the BMW 3 Series is a 93 mm long, the wheel distance is increased by 50mm, track width increased by 37mm at the front and 47mm (rear) and was also given an update on the design of the front with the twin round headlights wider.
Two technological innovations made to all variants of the sixth generation. First, the use of BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. Second, the application of eight-speed automatic transmission system.
BMW 320d turbo charged diesel engine paired with a capacity of 2.0 litre with variable turbine geometry (VTG). It attempted to blow up the power and torque of 184hp and 380Nm. The time required for acceleration from 0-100 km/h is just 7.6 seconds.
The 328i variant also installed a gasoline engine 2.0-litre four-cylinder with direct injection system, the turbocharger and Valvetronic. It could generate as much energy as 245hp and 350Nm of torque readings to allow the car accelerates 0-100km/h in 6.1 seconds.
The top variant is model BMW 335i. It is paired with a gasoline engine 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder. The engine is able to produce maximum horsepower 306hp and 400Nm of torque. Note 0-100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds.
