BMW 5 Series comes with new features including Adaptive LED headlights and LED fog lamps, Enhanced Black Panel with full LCD display panel that replaces the analog instrument cluster, as well as a more efficient version of the fuel from the eight-speed gearbox.
Although the new features are standard on all models, there are differences between the equipment of the three models. 520d uses 17 inch W-spoke alloy wheels with 225 / 55R17 tires, Piano Black interior trim, 12-speaker Hi-Fi system, iDrive Touch with navigation features, dual-zone air conditioning (no controls for the rear) and normal leather steering wheel without paddle shifters.
The BMW 520i models use 18-inch alloys in V-spoke design (similar to pre-LCI 535i) with 245 / 45R18 tires, sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, four-zone air conditioning with rear controls, and comfort features access which means keyless entry.
The 528i M Sport adds M Sport package, which include aluminum trim for the interior, black headliner, 18-inch alloy wheels in the design of the new M double-spoke with 245 / 45R18 front tires and 275 / 40R18 rear tires, and M Sport steering with paddle shifters. Other equipments include four zone aircon, comfort access and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system.
