The new model uses a larger wheel, which is the size of 20 inches and 18 inches on the W221. In addition, the tires were used is run-flat tires type, which means there is no need for a spare wheel. This frees up space that could be used under the boot floor. Actually, the boot itself is smaller than before, 510 vs 558 liters.
